Warehouse Stationery NZ's Most Inspiring Teachers

Who are New Zealand's most inspiring teachers? The New Zealand public nominated an amazing 4,847 teachers for this Warehouse Stationery competition. And over 17,000 votes were received. Judges then went through the mountain of nominations to pick the best teachers.

Melanie Wihongi-Popham from Maeroa Intermediate took out the top prize - winning over $5000 worth of travel, a range of technology including a tablet and a smartphone, office furniture, a Print and Copy centre self-serve card and a large assortment of classroom stationery items from Warehouse Stationery. An awesome prize!

Federation brought in beweb to redevelop the NZ's Most Inspiring Teachers website, after the same competition was held last year. We were tasked with improving the usability of the site both for the public and for the Warehouse Stationery administrators. Using the latest MVC .Net technologies, we created a robust, modern site that was compatible across multiple browsers, including mobile phones.

We made it easier for the public to nominate and vote and gave Warehouse Stationery a simple-to-use administration section to keep an eye on nominations and votes.
