Auckland Museum Lighting

We developed an app for Auckland Museum staff to control the external lighting on their landmark building. When the building is lit up, it can be seen from areas across Auckland city.

Using a tablet, staff can control around 500 external lights choosing between 16 million (yes you read that correctly!) different colours.

The Museum uses the app to change the lighting for special events or days (for example, green on St Patrick's Day), or just for the fun. From using multiple colours through to having several colour gradients across a side of the Museum, the options are endless.
